CCTV Handheld Camera Build

In this how to i will explain how to select a camera do the connections and what capture cards/mini DVR to choose. And i will explain how to build a custom battery pack for your device.

Parts List

• Old CCTV camera (you can find bunch of them second hand) also try to pick box shaped ones. Mine is Samsung SDC-425 Analog Box Camera (580 TVL, 12V DC, C/CS-mount).
• 3S BMS (Battery Management System).
• S1P 18650 Li-ion battery pack ($11.1\text{V}$ nominal, $12.6\text{V}$ max).
• Capture card, EasyCap / UVC Video Capture Card (UTV007 chipset). (Or miniDVR if you prefer that.)
• USB-C OTG adapter. (we will use this to capture the footage to our phone.)
• BNC connector ( i have used klemens versions for conversion)

First of all test your equipment power the camera if it has a power cable and barrel jack. If you were able to find the straight conversion adapter connect that to cameras video output and, connect the other side to the capture card, connect your phone to the capture card and via capture apps (USB Camera (by ShenYao) or nExt Camera.) see if you can get a visual.
